The course materials are beautifully produced. They are clear, well-sourced, and comprehensive. I feel simultaneously confident in applying what I've learned and like I still have so much more to explore and delve into in years to come. Without question worth the time and money! I cannot rate the program, the staff, or the materials highly enough!!

Taking the Making Medicine course at Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine was one of the best decisions I've made for my herbal practice. My biggest takeaway was confidence. I came in with a lot of knowledge but also a lot of doubt, and I left trusting what I know and knowing how to learn the rest. What made the difference was the culture. It's truly okay to ask questions here, even when you're unsure or think the question might be "too basic." Everyone was friendly, patient, and encouraging, and I never felt judged for not knowing something. I felt so welcomed, like I gained a family. I now make my own herbal products with skill and care, and I'm grateful to the instructors and fellow students who made that possible. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn herbal medicine-making in a supportive, nurturing space.

My son took the herbal immersion program with the Chestnut school and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about them. The teachers are wonderful, the photography of the plants is stunning and the information about setting up a herbal garden and making medicine at home is life changing. Our whole family is reaping the benefits of my son taking this course.

I'm a current student in the herbal immersion program. Love the information and resources, and with Spring almost here, excited to put the learning into practice. CSHM provides lots of nice 'tidbits', like a super video on making healthier sodas. I make one from spring-growth eastern pine needles, ginger, and honey, but ferment it in a mason jar. My process takes a few days because I am relying on the natural yeast of the pine needles. When it's fermented, I transfer to my bottles. But I have some yeast from last fall's mead so will try this recipe!
