I wish I could give Chestnut School and all the staff even more stars. You most certainly will learn a lot about herbs but what I equally appreciated was how obvious it was that the production of this course, in a professional and beautiful way, was important to its creators and that they aimed to give extraordinary value for our dollars spent. The staff really cared that we would learn about the subject matter and achieve something precious by the end. The manual was gorgeous, the videos were well done, the staff support was awesome, the FB forum was positive and perfect. I’m definitely taking another class!

This was a fabulous school, excellent, entertaining lessons for each module.  The feedback on assignments was so valuable in furthering my learning.  I highly recommend Chestnut School for anyone who has been bitten by the herbal medicine bug. Just finished the foraging course and it was wonderful! It's thorough, will build confidence in your ability to identify plants and it's well worth the time and cost. Through the Herbal Immersion Course you will learn how to identify, grow, connect with, and make medicine with so many plant allies. I very much enjoyed my Herbal Medicine Making Course (and am planning on the next stage of this) and LOVED my Herb Cultivation course. Both have great info provided with wonderful videos. I am presently enrolled in the Herbal Immersion Program. The course content and projects are meticulously and professionally layed out and delivered. The manual is beautiful and informative, in every aspect. It is  filled with everything from hands in the dirt to the botanics of the plants, and lots of projects in the kitchen. I started with the herbal medicine making course that the Chestnut School offers and I felt connected to a classroom even though we all had virtual seats. The video instruction is clear and fun to follow. The printed materials are thorough in instruction and generous in content. The online support group is very active and Juliet is responsive to questions. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn about practical herbal use at home and can't get to a live and local teacher. Medicine is everywhere, so why spray the plants with poison that can leach into the soil? Living in harmony with nature includes accepting the good with the bad. Every season has its reason! I love how the course is created by people who obviously have a deep love for nature, medicine and all the inhabitants of our earth. Healing ourselves begins with healing nature and I've felt this lesson more with this course than anywhere else.

How nature has everything we need in order to heal ourselves. This course was a magical experience from start to finish and I'm glad to have access to the material for life. If I could give this 10 stars, I would.  It is obvious that this school was years in the making: the content is incredible, the pictures and videos are amazing, and the activities are wonderful at turning the information into action. Medicine making program was delightful...a page turner full of fragrant and delicious concoctions of plants to either eat, drink, apply to skin, bath and the list goes on! The materials are well organized and beautifully presented in doable and relatively easy lessons giving you many creative ways to use herbs for everyday health and pleasure. Chestnut's School of Herbal Medicine provides high quality, interactive and supportive education programs for beginning and advanced herbalists alike!  The instructors have a great deal of experience and knowledge about the entire process of growing, storing, and using herbs.  I highly recommend Chestnut's Classes for anyone interested in herbs for their own use OR wanting something more advanced such as opening an herb-based business.
